I met Barb as I was facing the daunting task of cleaning out and selling my brother's house. The house was a mess and I needed someone who would be honest and forthcoming with what it would take to be able to sell it. Barb saw it at its worst and said she would help me. Little did I know how much she would help. She was there every step of the way, from overseeing repairs (I live out of town) to making sure all of the paperwork was in order. Once I removed the contents (she recommended someone to help with that), we discussed next steps. She listened and offered sound advice. I am impressed with her tenacity and "can do" attitude. She is a hard worker with a vision of what "can be". If you want the optimal price for your house, hire Barb and take her advice. She knows the market and what it takes and won't steer you wrong. She is honest, trustworthy, and amazingly talented at selling houses. My brother's house went on the market on a Thursday and had a contract by Sunday. Who does that? Barb does!
I was selling a home for my parents who were unable to make decisions for themselves.
I had NO idea what to do or how to do it. The house that was "not at its finest" and Barb saw all the potential. She gave me resources to contact for donations, trash removal, septic clean out and recycling. She took care of the paint touch up, cleaned carpets, cleaned out the flower beds. Then she staged the house perfectly. I am still astonished at how quickly the property sold!! Everything was taken care of within two months. I have worked with a few other realtors in the past as well. Hands down, Barb is THE BEST!!! She has never pressured me into anything. Recently, she sold my FIL's house. The house was a mess and my FIL was very afraid to sell and give up his independence. Barb went out of her way to sit and talk to him. She explained everything in simple terms for him. Which is what he needed. The whole experience was positive despite his initial anxiety. So if you have an elderly parent or a new buyer, Barb is the one you want to call. I dont trust many people in this world, but I do trust Barb.
Barb was able to answer all of my questions, and she put forth the effort to stage my house to make it more appealing!
